Yup, because only developers should be at standups. Designers, UX, BAs, data guys, etc... should not be allowed to come to standups.

And your project is so small, you can track when everyone moves their cards.

Yup that is fine. If you are being constantly prevented from finishing that, then that is a problem.

You are doing it wrong. Deal with the impediment straight away, and then start tracking it on the board. Keep everyone informed about the impediment, so that if it touches other people, they know about it.
