I look forward to Escapade Blue and Gold returning, I plan to have a look at them with my X band setup. I'm running a 1.2m offset, which is significantly larger than the 60cm Daniel was using here.

I believe he's using a 6m antenna at the Allen Telescope Array (ATA).

Oh dear, you're correct. the 60cm antennas are on the sats themselves. Still, I might be able to get enough signal to see carrier, and maybe more given they'll be coming at us instead of going away next time around.

How does one get readings from large antennas? Are the streams public?

I don't think most of this data is published, but you might be able to get access to AMSAT-DL data from their 20m dish in Bochum. https://amsat-dl.org/en/20-meter-antenna/
