They tried to do that, look up Nazism in the Americas - fortunately the white supremacists were very much in the minority in the US. Modern racists operate pretty much the same way as 100+ years ago

Wouldn't say that racists were in the minority. Hitler starting several wars turned them off from fascism, in Britain as well, but regular old racism and white supremacy was strong.
