Any image protocol implementation is blocked on Gnome side for no apparent reason.

While on KDE side, they happily welcomed a MR to add support for images in the Konsole terminal: https://invent.kde.org/utilities/konsole/-/merge_requests/59...

This is sad since Gnome retains a considerably large slice of the desktop market but it's offering a poor experience to its users.

Being a 70's child, I well beyond doing everything on the terminal, use the graphics card to its powers.
