He mentioned that they aren't perfect.

I had a BMW which had an absolute perfect calibration of the sensor. It just WORKED.

Then I got a new windshield and all fell apart. As it was a BMW, I had to go to the dealer and have the rain-sensor re-calibrated.

And then it worked flawless again.



I had a similar experience with a BMW. The rain sensor in every car after that has been much worse.
