I cannot see the supposed 'manipulation' even where they have placed a circle around the portion in question.

For the circle in the article here, look at the skin on hand there, it kind of fades into fabric. And something looks wrong with the cloth in the exact center of the circle, I don't see any article of clothing that that makes sense to be a part of, but I could be wrong on that.
