Exactly, if used correctly GPTs are "working".

People complaining that this models doesn't live up to their expectations of what an "AI" should be is just funny.



Sorry, but I'm a seasoned developer, I can be succinct and ChatGPT will still get it wrong more often than it gets it right. Trying to get it to fix what it's done shouldn't result in things just falling out, or have it just not listen to your explicit instructions "Change X to Y and then regenerate all the code". We're not talking about thousands of lines of code here, it will generate most of the listing and then leave sections out with a comment. If it can't do what I ask, then just be up front about it.


"This talking dog is a total dumbass. I don't get the hype. You could drive a truck through the security holes in this C code it wrote."
