Why have there been so many posts about this lately? I feel like there have been 3-5 posts from different sources about Khan academy moving from a Python 2 monolith to go micro services. It seems like an inordinate amount of coverage for something like this. What am I missing?

I've never heard that and it's a silly thing to say. There's overlap of use cases, but it's a proper venn diagram and not a circle. It's not a drop in replacement for C.
