Hi all, I figured I'd see how many people on HN are familiar with cFS. It's a great application framework for real time space software and robotics, with built in telemetry systems, pub-sub messaging, distributed processing, table-driven configuration, logging, and event-based notifications. It runs on multiple operating systems (Linux, VxWorks, RTEMS) and supports multi-OS systems.

I've used it professionally and really enjoy the tight and light nature of the framework. I have a few nits with it, but in my experience, it's a breeze compared to the heavyweights like ROS.
