I'm surprised people still think tests _slow them down_. You do tests _all the time_ when you write software. It's a matter of making said tests repeatable.


You probably repeat a large subset of them manually anyway. Automate them and save time.

For instance, how many times did someone from Rovio manually shoot an Angry Bird, instead of code doing it?
