Internet as Dark Forest is a nice concept to think about. But I wonder about this:
"It’s quiet because night is when the predators come out. To survive, the animals stay silent."
Is that really so? Isn't it more like everything is easier when you have light? Why waste energy stumbling in the dark, even if there are no predators?
And why wouldn't the predators come out during the day when its much easier to see their prey?
