It takes off a lot of frustration of the rat race. You can focus and what you actually want to get done. You may then chose to spend your time on more ratracing, or doing other stuff.


It's perfectly fine to enjoy a day job. I truly love mine. I enjoy working at it, and I enjoy the freedom it gives me to do other stuff after work.

I enjoy the monetary reward but also the act of solving hard problems every day.
