Seeing an memoji author profile next to a serious blog post prevents me from taking the post seriously even if the topic is a serious one or the person is knowledgable.

I hope this doesn't become a bigger trend.

I mean it's ok if the post is something frivolous, upbeat, or fluffy. But often times it seems like a mismatch of sensibilities.

Am I the only one?
