I got a tape drive quite cheaply and I am searching for a backup software to create backups of NAS, maybe a laptop (I can stage it), but after searching for a software I wasnt able to find anything that is not rudimentary simple (tar - scripting it might be my choice at the end) or completely overcomplex (bacula, bareos).

Do you know some software that would allow simple selection of few folders, do incremental and differential backups but wouldnt require too much hassle with configuration and would support tapes ?
