There was never any proof or big evidence that DST has any advantage in any aspect. It was implemented using pure ignorance.

In Brazil it was suspended last year and I hope this year too. No one was upset by the change, much to the contrary, and as far as I know no one said anything about noticeable changes in energy consumption or anything.
