I don't get it.

You did write in your blog post:

But I am failing to see any particularly convincing proof of the reality of it, besides the steep initial adoption curve (that is obviously connected to the current hype), it seems to me like a sort of circular reference.


Obviously he took his own advice when it comes to bringing OpenAI to the market!


For example: in consumer subscription models, keeping over 50% of revenue after 1 year puts you in the top quartile. For B2B SaaS, conversion from trial to paying customer needs to be at least 7% to reach the industry benchmark. More in the post.
