They literally complied with this request immediately and without question.

It's almost like the democratically elected government gets to decide the name, not Google!

People like democratically elected governments... until it's not their side.

It's almost like the democratically elected Congress gets to decide the name, not the President!

(Spoiler: it's still legally called the Gulf of America)

I would not defend all of Google's decisions in the Trump era, but complying immediately with politicized name changes has always been the status quo. Even in healthy democracies, the precise names of geographic features can be extremely controversial, and no sane company wants to get in a debate with the Japanese government about the real names of various islands.

Is there any way to make it stop rotating automatically?

You can disable the auto-orbit via the settings.

Very nice TY.

Not sure about writing code, but I sure was recently able to interrogate a code base extensively using Claude Code with Serena connected to Lazarus.

If we had tools, the airport would never have been shut down.

The rate at which people are currently posting AI enhanced or modified images of themselves is a bit surprising to me. Apparently people very much like wearing different outfits or travelling to new places without actually having to put them on or actually leave the house.

I would hazard to say that most people are upset because a single person decided the fate of our country, and in a manner contrary to the outlines defined in the constitution. And your description of the events there really do clarify just how awful things here are as well - executions in broad daylight, masked men kidnapping people extrajudicially, allegations of laws being violated as a pretext to detail lawful citizens.

It's all horrible and shocking to say the least. And it makes people question whether our actions are justified or the outright thuggery of a wanna-be dictator.

Why do you think they don't want to add gesture controls?

Gesture controls were introduced with a previous version of the Pros (I think 2). I've been "scrolling" up to raise the volume for about three years, maybe 2.5.

Were people not previously paying what they cost? It sounds like that's the concept we're getting rid of here.

I'm sure if you were a reasonable person you might realize how many of the diseases we treat are "lifestyle choices". But of course none of that applies to you. Because you are better than that.

Is that an argument of some sort? I can't quite identify the point.

I feel the same way about the article
