Older people have fading memories, earlier when they had people they would keep recollecting and reselling the stories . Now that option does not exist.

My mom did not use a smartphone as she thought it would be complicated, but my daughter convinced my mom to use it to communicate with her .

She discovered back one friend and eventually most of her schoolmates.

Last 4 years, she now has daily digital routines. Attended a reunion .

She has started writing again after decades. Comments on every social post in details, of her friends and family.

Takes photos and shares them

This is the best possible outcome which I could have imagined

can we use LLM's to help maintain and improve the project?

initially used redhat then fedora till 2006

switched to ubuntu for desktop and debian for server in 2006 for my company, by 2020 most developers chose mac for desktop and debian/ubuntu for server

I built a list of simple games in pygame with code and solver generated by AI.

Have implemented 2048, Minesweeper, Sudoku and chess. First three are single player games have made good progress.

I still don't understand UCI interface and have not thought through chess solving. Hope will take another try this weekend

MKBHD's review made me build a prototype mobile app with neck band / chest mount. Hope I have a usable prototype for friends and family in another 2 months .

how many users you plan to support with this setup?

I switched to mac in 2008 after meeting DHH at railsconf 2008 in portland, I switched to windows last year to run AI models on nvidia rtx 4090, good to see DHH is now willing to switch back to windows workflow

samples look amazing , Looking forward for access, and hope they price it competitively

If we go from DALL-E 3, it won't be nowhere near competitive while they have the superior ground. Generating a high quality 1024x1024 image with costs around ~$0.002, but $0.08 on DALL-E 3 (20x more expensive per-image). For videos with very high computational needs (since each frame needs to be temporally consistent, you need huge GPUs to serve this) I'm expecting this to be so much more expensive than its competitors (Pika or SVD1.1)
