I can tell from the comments and from my own observation, the entire HN knows she is not an expert. I think we shouldn't beat the dead horse here. I also agree she shouldn't call herself "expert" of at least the cyber security field.

SSO is good for enterprise use, but manage your own credentials in your personal life so you're not dependent on unreliable Google.

Windows has become a complete piece of shit these days: almost nothing works well, there's ads built-in, security is just a big joke. I've taken to keeping my Windows machine for gaming only, network-isolated from Microsoft and re-imaged every 3-6 months.

My Samsung "TV" draws almost 40W of power when it's turned "off" - I have to physically cut the power to it. There's also no way to disable Bluetooth. Spyware seems to be the fait accompli for Samsung.


HDMI can carry Ethernet, so I still worry about the potential.
