Windows has become a complete piece of shit these days: almost nothing works well, there's ads built-in, security is just a big joke. I've taken to keeping my Windows machine for gaming only, network-isolated from Microsoft and re-imaged every 3-6 months.

We don't have and don't want a cashless society. Anyone who says we do is your enemy.

It also recommends using DuckDuckGo ... the "private" search engine hosted on US Microsoft servers.

My Samsung "TV" draws almost 40W of power when it's turned "off" - I have to physically cut the power to it. There's also no way to disable Bluetooth. Spyware seems to be the fait accompli for Samsung.

HDMI can carry Ethernet, so I still worry about the potential.
