I just go for something that works... I don't really care that much about specs. Macs seem to be the least stress causing laptops

Stop reading books and start making stuff

Go somewhere where you are valued my friend

Any tips for finding such a place?

Yes but from the frame that the amount of diff problems you experience matters. Not your 10 years of experience solving 1 set of problems

Huh? You would have to authenticate with Twitter using your crypto wallet to prove you own the wallet associated with the NFT. Twitter would know the contract addresses of the original NFT so even if you created your own smart contract with identical images it wouldn't be the original...

Go out of your way to show your work and progress regularly, just don't stay heads down all the time. Keep in constant communication with whoever would be interested in seeing it... bosses... users... etc

* In capitalism you have to create, nothing is given freely

Fixed your typo.

Is that supposed to be clever? I was making the point that our "survival of the fittest" narrative is the result of a specific social and economic system, not an inherent part of life. The distinction between "taking" in a negotiation and "creating" within a negotiated labor contract is trivial.

This was a nice read, glad everything has worked out for Flavio. Part of why this is possible is that there is a lot more leverage available for those that are solo nowadays. It's an exciting time for sure

Pretty much Twitter at this point for me. There's too much pessimism on HN when it comes to crypto. I appreciate criticism but Twitter has all the deep thinkers

Yes. Twitter is honestly much better for most topics, as long as you do a good job of curating who you follow.

Practially any deep topic on HN is 90% just people with no expertise making pronouncements or asking for it to be explained to them. It's still worth reading for the occasional insight from the minority, though.

As someone whose asked for some technical papers to be explained a little, I find the expert digests on papers to be one of my favorite things on HN as well as experts who help put things in context

Ah yes those 280 character tweets lend themselves extremely well to deep thought.

Quite a condemnation that HN can't beat 280 character tweets on this topic, eh?

The topic of cryptocurrency scams? Don't need to a waste a lot of words on that thankfully :-)

This is what OP means.

You know people link to their blog posts and stuff right?

Yes, I could've tweeted that. What's your point? Are you convinced my comment was an attempt at deep thought? I guess on twitter it might've been considered as such?

I'm new to Twitter, always have been a Luddite when it comes to it but I'm curious to try, any advice on how to find quality accounts to follow?

This is interesting. Any way to post the documents to be read publicly?

Yep, you can make any document public & readonly. We plan to add more options for public pages too.
