I browsed HN [dead] comments to see Terry’s comments. Sometimes, in between the random quotes and other things, he would write something brilliant.

I’ve known other schizophrenic people who do seem to have brief periods of lucidity. Sometimes on and off throughout a day. Really sad.

Is there a link to his profile/are his posts browse-able?

Not his old posts, but if you're at all interested in seeing his old streams circa 2015/2016, there's an ongoing live stream here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iyknwjYbRE

Family and friends.

Tonight was wonderful. Every year is better than the last.

Vintage Steinway is my dream piano. Sorry that you have to get rid of it.

I lean very libertarian, especially when it comes to criminal justice and sentencing reform.

Private prisons can be seen as a byproduct of over-criminalization and over-enforcement. These red light cameras are in the same world where government sees the tightening of enforcement as a valid revenue model.

Over-criminalization is a byproduct of a for-profit prison system.

Has there ever been a study that has proven this? I hate the idea of private prisons but I've always been skeptical that prison owners can influence the justice system sentencing or law enforcement policies.

This is really well written.

I do this too. Fantasy universe works best for me. Always asleep after a few minutes doing this

Czech Texans tended to settle in Central Texas which traditionally doesn't use sauce on their meat.

East and South Texas use sauce.

Just because Kreuz does it and every person from New York that goes to Texas to write about BBQ has mentioned it doesn't mean sauceless is even ubiquitous in Central Texas. This is like some weird myth perpetuated by foodie culture.

As a Texan who's had bbq all over the state.. I agree. Sauceless is NOT ubiquitous with central Texas. In fact very much the opposite.

Get some hot sauce or salsa instead. Tons of local brands.

It seems like a quick fix to get halfway to where they want to be. Now they need to solve for the other half

Garage doors in general are a pain. I have installed and repaired a few and that is one thing that I pay someone else to do now.

I don’t find it fun to tinker with a garage door at all.
