The Orion browser on iOS and macOS can run Firefox and chrome extensions- I saw no ads on the above site.

Heck, I don’t see ads in regular iOS Safari. People just need to install a good content blocker.

I recently got a pixel 3a for $83 on Amazon and loaded up CalyxOS. I swap sims back and forth and (re)register Signal on the device I’m using at the time. I also use MySudo on each for my burner numbers. Works well and I get to try out Android. I’ve had an iPhone since the 3g one I think, and was an active iOS developer since iOS 4. I can really say I like both systems.

There's a TV show that is kinda good: "Mayday". It may also be called " air disasters" or some such in different locations.

Edit: here's a wiki link:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mayday_episodes

Especially if you wear a wedding band!

Ahhh vi. I was reading the article hoping to see mention of vi…

Emacs was cool too, but I never got hooked - was very comfortable in vi land as it was the first editor I used on the old time terminals (green/amber CRT and a keyboard you could kill with). Oh the power of vi/EMACs and regular expressions without ever lifting a finger from the keyboard!

Exactly. I well remember the green or amber 24x80 terminals. Televideo, Lear-Siegler, etc. Bundles of twisted pair cable for tty lines back to the machine room.

Good times....

But wasn't vi the Fancy Tool then?

That is why I started to use ed. Much better than vi because you THINK in a buffer :-)

I usually nap. More often than not, I wake up with a solution. Check this link for a good napping procedure http://www.artofmanliness.com/2015/02/18/hypnagogic-nap/

Had a very expensive individual coil mattress for the last 7 years. This year started getting low back pain. Talked to these guys: http://www.originalmattress.com . No gimmicks, just straight dope on how a mattress should work and why theirs do and many others fail. Also it's a local "factory to buyer" direct set - up so there's no phony sales and markups.

I also use a body pillow to put in-between my knees (I've been using a body pillow for most of my adult life) and that sure helps keep my body aligned.

Good luck!

P.S. Ever try chiropractic? Might not be for everyone, but I swap services with a local chiro - sure helps me out when I tweak my back snowboarding/skateboarding....

Thank you for the response, meierjo!

I actually sleep on a wood "mattress" (two pieces of plywood). I'll look into the Original Mattress, as well. Thanks again!

I've slept on floor many many times - however, I'm usually on my back and then start snoring. Not good for my bed mate :)

Was very close to getting a Shikibuton. On man this one really had me drooling: http://soaringheart.com/products/organic-cotton-wool-shikibu...

even a cheap exercise mat works well, I just can't stand sleeping on plastic though....

Ended up with a traditional mattress from the Original guys because we already had a matching bedroom set and my mate didn't want to drop $$ on a new setup...
