Then why does the parliament not have some one looking after it's cyber security and answerable directly to it.

They should totally have someone looking after the parliaments part of the it infrastructure. I don't see why they shouldn't have someone in charge of it.

Well they would have to go back to paper and maybe even voting physically rather than pushing a button remotely.

All it takes for a "friend" to donate some new shiny to a MP who then plugs it and its game over.

You need to have a Baord level champion who can steamroller any silos and get stuff done.

Eventually, we got exactly that, a leader the Board would actually listen to and respect.

American sports fans are not violent in the same way that Football Ultras are.

What would have been better is 20-25 years ago take ipv6 out back and shoot it and tel the IETF to go back to the drawing board and come up with one tat had a better migration plan

Yes a terrible security risk what happens when some one tailgates a bunch of contractors with a made up pass. Easy way to smuggle bad stuff onto a ship.

Sounds like the start of a NCIS episode.

Just the realisation that there exist some sub community in the computer world where you can be "one of the most powerful people in coding" without any history of contributing to open source projects whatsoever. https://github.com/lindaliukas

It always was a relatively well paid job.

Remember that Liukas is not a native English speaker and she might not have understood how that will be understood.

Secondly when you talk to any journalist you have to be ultra careful they don't twist what you say into some thing that fits their agenda or their own biases.

It doesn't matter how careful you are they will twist it anyway.
