What's the best reader for KOReader? I'm in the market for a new one and would like one that handles everything a kindle does not.

I like the boox devices, (they run a mostly stock Android that you can use the Google Play store and download whatever you want to them. Switched over from my Kindle a year ago and it's been fantastic)

To this excellent list, I would humbly add Bhavana: https://bhavana.org.in/

Two More;

a) Resonance : Journal of Science Education published by Indian Academy of Sciences - https://www.ias.ac.in/Journals/Resonance_Journal_of_Science_...

b) Science India magazine published by Vijnana Bharati- https://scienceindiamag.in/

Great; I didn't know of this Mathematics magazine.

Hmm I couldn't get it to work with video chat so I should try again

I was using it with facebook messenger video chat, accessed through messenger.com. I don't know if it works with all video sources, yet I can't see why it wouldn't.

To clarify, I had nothing to do with the making of this service. Discovered it last night, loved it, and decided to share.

So sad that netflix doesn't have it any more

My wife and I have been subscribed to acorn.tv for several years instead of Netflix. It has many eminently watchable shows, especially Poirot and Foyle’s War, my favorite.

Netflix used to carry both a few years ago. It’s a shame not many know about Foyle’s War in the US. Another excellent piece of British television.

It's available on google for between 3 and 25 $ per season. I just purchased the first season.

This vaguely sounds like MIDI to me

Or CSS extensions

Or SNMP MIBS

I hope we get group video calls and video calls on desktop soon

I work at Signal on calling.

Non-group desktop calls are coming soon (hopefully hitting beta in a few weeks).

We're working on desktop group calls as well. That will take a bit longer, though. I don't have a good estimate of when it will be available

Excellent news. It would also be helpful if we could also get (missed) call notifications on desktop. Right now if someone calls and I don't have my phone with me, I don't see their (missed) attempt on the desktop.

Thanks for your work and looking forward to testing it out!

Welcome to you who have come to zombocom!

This is zombo com https://html5zombo.com/

"you won't kill me out of some misguided sense of self righteousness and I won't kill you because you're just too much fun"

I had the same thought

Yeah I agree. Zulip is really good. It's a nice mix of email+chat. I much prefer it over slack.
