Hello HN! I wanted to make a font that I can "snap" to vertices on a grid for an upcoming project, and after starting making it I decided that it was going to be easier to iterate if I made an editor too. It uses opentype.js to generate the font and some invisible textarea tricks combined with svg for the text editor.
It took me a second to realize what I was looking at, but this is a very cool toy to play with.
When I click the same bubble twice in a row it clears the entire field of bubbles. Is this intended behavior? Seems like I should be able to undo a click that I've made. Using Firefox on MacOS.
Unfortunately the side effect is that some emojis, live the gorilla, are only a head in my font. Still, it's cute, despite the weird scales (your mouth is 12cm??)

That's the thing, making something plug and play and mostly "driver-free" would be very hard to almost impossible. Framework laptops look amazing but they will require at least a bit more maintenance and knowledge, and that is fine too.
> I'm still waiting to hear about the aircraft that has gone down
So sad to hear. No one shines a laser on an aircraft accidentally, and it is not like the police are using lasers as an excuse to systematically punish a minority. We don't need to wait for a tragedy to happen here.
I surely do not :) my job is very interesting, yeah it can suck debugging or going through bureaucracy and documents. However, I get to WFH, do chores as my break time, then at 4 or 5 I say Good Day and I use my evening for family, friends, and hobby. Happy life so far!
Won't iCloud lost mode and remote erase mostly accomplish that? Not sure how many photos are cached on the phone in off-line mode, but that would remove icloud photo access at least.
Also, you can try reducing the "contrast" and "definition" settings. I think in this case the hoodie is taking a lot of the lines, I'll take a look, thanks!
