Awesome job on launching it early. I appreciate the idea behind the live call monitoring, but it will be so hard to use that tool while a call is going on, I think it might be too hard to use.

Technical Artist | SBX Robotics | Fulltime | Remote | Toronto, Ontario, Canada

At SBX Robotics we teach robots to see using simulation. Remember when Neo learns Kung-Fu in The Matrix? It’s like that, but for robots.

We’re looking for a Technical Artist motivated to apply their skills to building virtual environments for robots to learn from. What is a game if not a simulated world?

You will help us revolutionize the world of computer vision, AI, and robotics by building photorealistic environments in UE4. This role is an opportunity to develop a broad “jack-of-all-trades” Technical Art skill set, learn about 3 cutting edge fields at once, grow with our nimble team, and help us build something fundamentally new. In this role, you will see the fruits of your labor make an impact in days - not in months or years.

SBX Robotics | Technical Artist | Full-time & Remote | http://www.sbxrobotics.com | Toronto & Montreal

JD: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/2766792747/?refId=lKc0MRx...

SBX Robotics is at the intersection of technical art and machine learning. We're teaching robots to see using synthetic data and a mix of deep learning techniques. Data is a bottle neck for many computer vision problems, we're working to speed up this process by generating and tuning synthetic data.

We’re looking for an experienced Unreal Engine Generalist, Technical Artist, or Technical Director to level up our procedural asset generation skillset, and to bring expertise from game development and VFX into our world of computer vision, AI, and robotics. This role offers an opportunity to be a jack-of-all-trades, to teach as well as execute, to quickly grow into a leadership position. You will work directly with the founders who bring Silicon Valley experience from companies like Uber ATG, Kindred AI, Yelp and Wish.

To apply please use linked in (see link above) or email me directly josh at sbxrobotics.com

This is interesting! Is this a rule of thumb or common sense in the infrastructure world or is it something which there are studies? If there are studies do you have some links I could read further on?

I quiet enjoy reading your posts! As a software engineer without much background in ML/Optimization it was very approachable.

Keep up the good work!
