Compared to Microsoft Office suite, Libre suite is definitely not slow.

Depends on your system. A few years ago I ran it on a MacBook where scrolling on an empty page took ages. Seems nobody tried it out on a Mac before releasing the port since it was totally unusable. Hopefully it's fixed now, but I wouldn't recommend a piece of software I don't trust to anyone.

Last time I tried (admittedly two years ago), it was incredibly sluggish, several times more so than MS Office, which is also sluggish in general.

Davinci Resolve for video editing. It's what I'd use on Windows, as well.

Lightroom vs Gimp does not make sense, should be Gimp vs Photoshop if anything.

For photos you can use digikam + darktable/rawtherapee.

Which two specific functions?

Compared to which software? Ableton? Reaper? Did you use RT kernel? JACK or ALSA? Pipewire?

DE will also affect performance.

Compared to Bitwig, since that's what I use on both Macs and Windows PCs. Distro was Ubuntu Studio, which is tooted as an OS "configured for best performance for various purposes: Audio, Graphics, Video, Photography and Publishing", and comes with Jack.

I read or heard somewhere at least 80% of CC is written by CC and Aider (before CC was mature enough)

C posts still make the front page here and there

And it still will in 10 years.

Cloudflare uptime has worsened a lot lately, AI coding has increased exponentially, hmm

This is getting embarrassing.

* Sublimating...

Point me your repo, I want to see if AI can improve it.

I mean I can't give you my company code but my GitHub is not difficult to find. That said, I'm a little confused by your offer, because I feel like this doomed to fail because you don't have my context as to what I want improved?
