i have an acquaintance that uses chatgpt to ask it the lotto numbers. people are definitely using the tool, the purpose may vary.

op looked at their way of using the tool and assumed everyone else used it the same limited way

so what is the choice? build an in-house office suite (and all the extra functionality)? use a sub-par alternative that doesn't even cover all the features?

people've been confusing the title and alt tags since like IE4

it would've been nice to be able to visualize the differences between the different accents in the spanish language, really cool tho

Yeh, we would've loved to see that too. It's on our roadmap for sure. Same for some of the other languages with a large amount of unique accents like e.g. French, Chinese, Arabic, etc...

> You can't make sweeping statements like this, software engineering is a large field.

that goes both ways

> but i normally assume protestors get permits

can't help but find this hilarious (also not american either)

That is kind of the central idea of democracy.

Instead of revolution and all its upheavel & damage, you get a mini controlled revolution every 4 years.

Instead of unmitigated riots, you get demonstrations but with some crowd control & beurocracy to prevent injuries (and well chaos, riots and looting).

Democracy is kind of a deal - you get to have the popular discontent but without the extreme forms that end up damaging bystanders.

> That is kind of the central idea of democracy.

What you are describing here, are the requirements. The implementation, is usually, much, much different.

should've been called roost

i always find it funny how ppl shit on facebook as if any other social media site was orders of magnitude better. facebook is as shitty as you make it to be. follow shit reel creators and it will be shit. get into shit awful groups and it will be shit.

I registered a new Facebook account solely to set up my Oculus Quest. It laid dormant for 3 years until I needed to log into it again to add my friend on Messenger. My default home feed without ever having interacted was full of horrible AI generated "Today is my birthday" images, Jesus Christ with cabin crew, etc. I didn't make it like that, this is what Facebook decided would be good to show

Follow all your friends and family and the algorithm will decide that you don't actually want to see their recent posts

go to the feeds tab, it's all there

chrome on a celeron laptop, barely if any lag
