The comma at the end of LoveFrom, has a different animation each time you reload the website.

Not only that, but it includes functionality: it's clickable, to load the next two lines of text. Such a remarkable amount of work has been lavished on that comma. It probably explains why there were no resources left over to put commas between the listed items "designers architects musicians filmmakers writers engineers".

Whatever I, or anyone else, think of the site, it's grabbed attention and provoked reaction/discussion, because Ive.

(And those animations are kinda lovely.)

There are 13 variations according to the JS. Script URL posted above by jmkni.

different animation the first 12 times you reload the website = much less impressive.

I think bitexploder is referring to the "Dunbar's number" which is 150.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunbar%27s_number

From the wiki: Dunbar's number is a suggested cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships. By using the average human brain size and extrapolating from the results of primates, he proposed that humans can comfortably maintain only 150 stable relationships.

In a big company such as Google with very complex systems, such a thing is likely to happen. Even with very detailed specification with rigid scrutiny, details like this will fall through the cracks. Often we anticipate every possible edge cases but haven't taken into account outside systems that plays a big role too, which leads to cases such as this.
