I gave him a chance. Twitter was unacceptably censoring any covid dissent. He freed some of it. Then you find out about the people killed in Tesla crashes. Or him calling the cave rescuer in Thailand a pedo
I tried it, I like it a lot, but I did find an issue straight away.
I'm on MacOS and I have remapped the fn and command keys so it can be more like Windows (I can't undo 20+ years of muscle memory, and also I just don't wanna)
Anyway, Fresh seems to ignore the remapping - it's back to the command key for copy/paste and the command palette.
Is there a way to access the dropdown menus by keyboard? I can see F underlined for File but no modifier key seems to make it happen
This is probably not your responsibility. Modifier keys and especially rebinding them are really in the realm of the OS and the Terminal emulator. The application really shouldn't have to do special things to accommodate Mac OS idiosyncrasies.
Haha, hi, it's me, Emily, the designer of this font. It actually didn't come first! And strangely finding an available name was almost the hardest part.

This new development adds Linux and Browser to that list.
I recently tried out .NET MAUI to see how easy it was to build a hello world app. It was quite messy getting it setup on Mac but eventually I got a simple hello world app working. Nice to use XAML again after all these years. I always liked it.

I ran it a few months back without reading everything. I was trying a bunch of different linux distros via bootable USB drives, when I tried this one and it wiped the underlying drive.
Luckily enough it was just a test machine, I didn't lose anything crucial.
It's not abundantly clear that merely booting this operating system FORMATS YOUR DISK. Yes, there's a grub menu, but it has something like a 2 second timeout before it destroys all your data.
No, they're worse. Nothing like doing a search for a serious topic related to a class I'm teaching and having unrelated garbage shorts come up over and over, each taking up six times the space of a real video. I'm sure YT has someone analyzing data saying this is better. That person should be fired because they have no idea how to analyze data.
Laughed out loud at this onion-like headline
