Congrats on launching! Great tool, love the minimal UI and the "coming soon" features

I've used CRMs for the last 10 years, starting with an internal built CRM for a bank that I worked at and moving on to the salesforce, hubspot etc..

Here's what I've noticed being a user/developer - Users will always complain! If it takes more than 2 minutes to get something done they'd rather not do it

- All CRMs have a learning curve, once users get used to the workflows they're comfortable with, they don't want anything to change. (e.g. when one of the CRMs relaunched with a new UI, a few users refused to use it for a long time)

- Users prefer the work done for them, no one wants to spend time thinking. If you have a library of pre-built workflows it goes a long way. Even better, do all the analysis and let users make a binary decision

This is one space that really interests me, let me know if you wanted to chat. My twitter is in my bio

Betting on user's laziness is usually a good path! I mentioned it in another comment but I think the way we log activities is something that will evolve a lot with good connectors and LLMs. And once you have the right data logged you can think about suggesting the next tasks, performing actions on behalf of the user, etc.

I've followed you on Twitter!

Very exciting project, from a fellow ex-woodmacker. Will get in touch

Thanks fellow ex-WoodMacker! I'll keep an eye open

Super cool tool! I noticed the Twitter template for example was only for your own account. Is there a plan in the future to create one for tracking lists or hashtags?

Yes! You can track public hashtags, URLs, and even handles using the "social listening" block on the Twitter integrations.

Check out this template which has an example – https://livedocs.com/templates/4cc353b1-f771-4e07-ae68-2f3d8...

Love this! Would love to see more features in there I know someone mentioned charts which is great! Other features could be news/fundamentals! Let me know if you want to brainstorm my Twitter is in my bio. I used to work at a data vendor that competed with Bloomberg have plenty of ideas!

Firstly congrats on the launch! I am super excited about this I just signed up hoping to get my hands on it and experiment on different things

At $30/month I think its a steal the reason I say this is because for someone to do this with no-code they would probably have to hire a freelancer who would charge them way more than $30 for setting it up and probably no/little support. Love the idea I really think it fills a gap here.

There are several side projects I'm going to try with this

Hey I'm the cofounder of EnergyAnts. Its a news aggregator for the Energy industry. We launched during this batch's startup school. Looking forward to some feedback!

Check it out https://www.energyants.com

Are you only focused on hydrocarbons? Or does that just dominate the Energy Industry as a whole? I visited your site and the front page was entirely Oil / Natural Gas

We’re focused on energy in general, but so far the users have been posting about hydrocarbons as that’s trending now considering where the oil price is now and where it’s headed. What did you think of the website

Let me know if you want me to send you an invite (email in my bio)

why ants?

We dig deep for links to post on the website, we also aim to acquire a lot of user from all over who crawl for info to post. Also Ants it sounds cool!

Maybe casual readers will find new things here, but if your target audience is people in energy industry, everyone is already deluged all day long with Reuters and Bloomberg articles. Sorry, but I must say there was nothing in the front page+ that looked unique or novel. Digging up truly niche or obscure news that is closer to being a primary source than a commentary on markets would have more unique value.

Thank you for the valuable feedback! That was part of the initial idea to get to being a primary source of news and I believe it would require a good user base that is very involved in the energy industry

Are you involved in energy in anyway? Happy to send you an invite! My email is in the bio

Thank you again for the feedback I highly appreciate it!

These things happen when you're just getting starting its normal we live and learn.

Just hoping they start a slightly more flexible cohort for people who are working and looking for the next promotion

What would we need to change about our part-time classes to make it accessible to you?

Having shorter weekday hours and longer weekend hours would make it perfect. I was in the process of registering for the March 2019 data science cohort, however I dropped it as I did not want to take someone else's spot. Could not commit to 3 hours a day (on a week day)

Interesting. So could you give me an example schedule that gets to at least 20 hours/week?

Monday to Thursday 1 hour each Friday off Saturday 8 hours Sunday 8 hours

That’s one example I could think of. The day off could also move around so Monday could be off

Hmm, very interesting

Something I noticed for part-time classes is that they are mostly 6pm-9pm PST. That becomes 9pm-12am on the East Coast, where I live. That's not feasible if you're also working a 9-5 job; it's signing up to be sleep deprived for 18 months. The science on the negative health effects of chronic sleep deprivation being extremely clear, I'd never sign up for that.

We alternate time zones, so sometimes it’s e.g. 6-9 Eastern.

Might be worth mentioning somewhere near the schedules; I only saw one 4-7 PST (so 7-10 EST) full stack part time course in the upcoming courses list after checking all of the current upcoming schedules. Every other upcoming part-time course currently listed is 6-9 PST. It would be easier to come away from that thinking this is really only for West Coast students.

Thanks Josh, I sent you an email I think you answered most of the stuff here though just came back to the comments now. Would still be great to have a chat sometime

The "flavor of the day" comment really caught my attention, been thinking of a startup between those lines. I think with people having hundreds of decisions to make everyday from a million choices, it would help to answer those questions for the users without them having to spend time deciding.

I mean its great to have review sites, but what should I have for lunch today? what is trending just give me the answer I am happy to pay $5 a month you decide for me. What programming language is trending?

Will look into it at some point, happy to have a chat with anyone who's interested my email is in my profile

How is your business doing now?

successful
