StrongLifts is basically Starting Strength repackaged for easier consumption with better marketing. For beginners, both will do a great job of getting you in shape, but reading Ripptoe's books is a must for getting into anything more advanced.
Sometimes I think I am the only nerd who never had a traumatic high school experience. Sure, I never got along with the jocks, but I never really wanted to either. I was perfectly happy hanging out with my nerd friends.
As noted elsewhere the issue is with the software inhibiting the activation of the thrusters. They delayed solar panel deployment because the capsule doesn't have attitude control yet.
SpaceX says one thruster pod is working, and two are "preferred" to deploy solar arrays. Four thruster pods are on the Dragon spacecraft.
"We are working to bring up the other two in order to plan the next series of burns to get to station," a SpaceX spokesperson says.
And at 11:40 EST:
"Thruster pod 3 tank pressure trending positive. Preparing to deploy solar arrays," Musk just tweeted.
At least two thruster pods are needed to deploy the power-generating solar arrays, which stretch 54 feet tip-to-tip.
So it's looking positive that they'll recover from this.
I think a forum for an app is a bit different because it has a specific topic that makes people seek it out. No one is going to stay on a new discussion forum if it has no users and there are more options. Also, subreddits may start out like that, but have you seen how many are completely deserted?
I think the question arose from the fact that the old logo looked like it was trying to be both a window and a flag at the same time. The reason for looking like a window was pretty obvious, but the reason for looking like a flag wasn't.
I imagine simulation is definitely the route they will go. To be honest, I would be happy with anything outside of just reading and answering questions. I am taking a similar course at my university now, and there is absolutely no lab exercises, simulations, or anything outside of your typical lecture. I've been learning LTspice in my spare time, but I was pretty disappointed that there wasn't something like that already in the curriculum.
