Yeah there absolutely are not fields of 30 year old cars in the uk lol. Our agricultural land is efficiently exploited and would never waste the space, public lands would be in uproar and the government did not buy acres and acres to stash ford fiestas.
In the EU beams cast light off to the side of the road and not into incoming traffic.
When we go from uk to Europe for example we have to fit deflector stickers to the headlights to alter the beam so we don’t dazzle drivers on the other side of the road.
In the us I don’t think you have this. Driving at night in the USA is horribl, like a thousands subs beaming directly into your eyes.
It isn’t THAT bad here here. It’s getting worse with bright lights and tall cars sure but it’s not on the same level of the USA due to the beam shape
I don't believe video generation can make nonverbal communication sync up so well, regarding the shrug, eye movement, facial expression etc. perfectly synced with the voice. As I said, I think it's conditioned on some real footage, somewhat like ControlNet perhaps.
We were running spurs from the ring main and adding new outlets which is definitely not allowed without inspection now.
It’s really not that complicated and I’d feel completely comfortable doing it myself today but I understand how that may not be true for everyone so the requirement is probably reasonable.
Spurs have been re-legalised: the Part P changes have now been rolled back to whole new circuits, and spurs and new outlets are back as non-notifiable along with new faceplates etc.
That said, you're theoretically supposed to do a full set of earth resistance measurements etc. on the new wiring, which is hard if not impossible unless you've got proper electrician's test equipment. But in reality no one does that when DIYing it.
