>Also, I've personally seen more interest in AI in devs that have little interest in technology, but a big interest in delivering. PMs love them though.

You are not a fucking priest in the temple of engineering, go to fucking CS dep at the local uni and be the one and preach it there. You are worker of the company with customers, which pays you a salary from customers money.

Is it possible to combine your approach with NATTEN? It seems that both approaches are optimizing from different directions and can be combined with significant throughput and small performance improvements?

>Free market hardly work there.

Lmao, what? I download most of books and documents from Z-library (donated several times), that's the free market. Btw, FBI seized all of their domains recently.

Most of the time I need that one medicine textbook on a narrow subject, costing $100+, which I'd use just to look something up. I'm not going to buy all these books under any condition.

I don't see any issue with it in Russia. Almost all local stores (only the top 10 major companies though) now have self-checkout with a digital receipt. Since last year, I can self-checkout in a 24/7 store in a village of 10000 people at the sea. It's pretty wild, even though cashier's salaries are like $6000/year, they should've been saving a lot of money with these machines.

I've been in the same state this summer. I burnt half of my savings bootstrapping my startup that failed, and gambled the rest 90% on crypto (longing crypto lol, it's 2x since then)... so I spent 2 months lying on the couch, rewatching my favorite movies and sleeping 12 months per day on Prozac. Ended up starting great relationships with my university classmate, it's much more meaningful now.

Creating a product and seeing people loving it brings me the most joy, from my experience.
